Terms of Service

These are the rules for using Fennec360 Certified: what you get, what we ask of you, and what happens if something goes wrong. Plain language, no fine print games.

Who you're dealing with

Fennec360 Certified is run by Fennec360, a study-abroad and education company based in Algeria. This site is certified.fennec360.com. When we say we or us below, that is who we mean. When we say you, we mean the person using the site.

Using Certified means you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy.

Your account

You need an account to take an exam. You can create one with an email and password, or with Google. Certified is meant for people aged 16 and over.

  • Use your real name. It is the name that goes on your certificate and on the public verification page, so a nickname makes the credential useless to you.
  • One account per person. Do not share your login or take an exam for someone else.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account, so pick a password you do not use anywhere else.

The free exam

The free exam is the whole exam: every section we run for your language, a real score, and your CEFR level on screen at the end. You see exactly which sections your sitting contains before you start. It costs nothing, and you can retake it as often as you like.

A free result is a gauge, not a credential. It does not issue a certificate and there is no verification page behind it. Which languages are available can change as we add and retire exams.

Paid certificates

Paying turns a result into a verifiable certificate. Depending on the language, you can either upgrade a free result you already have, or pay first and sit a certified attempt. The price is shown in Algerian dinars before you pay, and card payments run through our payment provider on the CIB and EDAHABIA networks. Your card details never reach our servers.

What a paid certificate gets you:

  • A PDF certificate with your name, language, CEFR level, and certificate ID.
  • A QR code and a public verification page anyone can check.
  • A credential you can add to LinkedIn or a CV.
  • The option to appear on our public certificate wall, if you switch it on.

A certificate issues as soon as your exam is graded, which is usually within a minute of you finishing it. Some exams are held back for a person to read first, and then the certificate follows once they have. If you pay and no certificate is issued because something went wrong on our side, contact us and we will fix it or refund you.

How your exam is graded

Reading and listening questions are scored automatically. Writing is scored by our automated assessment system the moment you submit, against the CEFR descriptors, and your certificate issues off that score. Some responses are held back for a person to read before any certificate issues: a prompt you left empty, a score the system itself flags as doubtful, and anything our integrity check does not recognise as a genuine attempt at the task. An empty box scores zero, but it is also what a lost answer looks like, so someone checks it rather than letting a certificate issue off your multiple choice alone. We also read a sample of issued certificates afterwards, as a check on ourselves.

You can ask for a person to read your writing at any time, from your results page or your certificate page. It is free, you do not have to argue a case, and your certificate stays valid while they read. A Fennec360 reviewer reads what you wrote and sets the level themselves. If it changes, we reissue your certificate at no cost and the verification link you have already shared keeps working. If it does not change, we tell you that too. Anything else, or a certificate you cannot reach, goes through the contact page with the email on your account, the exam date, and your certificate ID.

Your CEFR level is our assessment of your language level, carefully made but still ours. A Fennec360 Certified credential is not a government exam, and it does not replace an official exam such as DELF, DALF, TCF, IELTS, or TOEFL when an institution asks for one by name. We are not affiliated with any of them.

Taking the exam honestly

The whole point of a verifiable certificate is that it means something. So, the rules:

  • Sit the exam yourself. Nobody else, no shared screen, no one dictating answers.
  • No translation tools, AI assistants, or outside help during the exam. You are welcome to invent facts in a writing task, we grade the language and not your life story.
  • Do not copy, record, or share exam questions.

On paid certified attempts we take a single photo of you at the start, after asking, and we log activity signals such as leaving fullscreen, switching away from the tab, and pasting into a writing box. None of it is scored and nothing in it fails you. It is there for a person to read when your attempt is one we review, and as evidence if a certificate is ever disputed.

If we find that a certificate was earned dishonestly, we revoke it. A revoked certificate stays at its verification address and shows as revoked, so anyone checking it sees the truth. In serious or repeated cases we may close the account.

Your certificate is public

Every certificate has a verification page at a unique address. Anyone who has your certificate, its QR code, or its link can open that page and see your name, language, level, issue date, and status. That is the entire point of it, and it is worth knowing before you share it.

The certificate wall and your public profile page are different: they are off unless you turn them on, and you can turn them off again whenever you want.

What we can and cannot promise

We work hard to keep Certified running and accurate, but we provide it as it is. We cannot promise it will never be down, never lose a beat, or be free of every error. We may change the exam, adjust scoring, add or remove languages, and pause the service for maintenance.

If a technical failure on our side costs you an exam attempt or a certificate you paid for, tell us and we will make it right. Beyond that, our responsibility is limited to what you paid us.

Leaving

You can ask us to close your account and delete your data at any time, and we will. Tell us at the same time what you want to happen to any certificate already issued to you: we can revoke it, which makes its verification page show as revoked, or leave it standing so the people you already sent it to can still check it.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms we update this page and the date at the top. If a change matters to you, for example anything about certificates you have already paid for, we will say so by email rather than hoping you notice.

These terms are governed by Algerian law.

Questions about any of this?

Write to us and a person will answer. That is also how you ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or for everything to be deleted.
